I am so excited to be working with the teachers, parents, and students of Blue Ridge Middle School! I was born and raised in New Jersey and came to Virginia to pursue athletics and my degree.  I attended James Madison University where I majored in Psychology and minored in Human Resource Development.  I also received my Masters from JMU in which I received my degree in School Counseling.  During my time at JMU, I had the amazing opportunity to study Viktor Frankl's work and present my research at the Viktor Frankl Congress in Vienna, Austria.  I am extremely passionate about my research that is centered around engaging in community service and purpose in life.  I enjoy exercising and any outdoor activity when I am not in school!

"Let someone love you just the way you are- as flawed as you might be, as unattractive as you sometimes feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are.  To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room." -Marc Hack
