Mrs. Treser, Makenzie
Short Bio:
Mrs. Treser is excited to be a 6th grade English teacher at River Bend! Mrs. Treser was born and raised outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Aside from teaching, she loves spending time volunteering with Young Life, doing anything active outdoors, and laughing with her husband, friends, family, and coworkers. Mrs. Treser went to college at Grove City College where she received a bachelors degree in Middle School Language Arts and Math. After graduating Mrs. Treser moved to Loudoun County and began teaching at River Bend Middle School. This year in 6th grade ELA, she will be working in something called the Mega-Class with Mrs. Miner, Mrs. Rayburn, Ms. Dailey, and Ms. Hurtado (refer to schedule below). Mega-Class is an extended classroom offering many opportunities for collaboration and flexible seating. She is thrilled for her fifth year at River Bend to work with an amazing group of students and families. This will be a remarkable year!
