• Personal Support Resources

The vision of Virtual Loudoun is to cultivate quality, flexible, self-paced, virtual learning.

Being a teenager is not easy. If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or struggling, it is important to reach out to someone for help. Talk to an adult you can trust … a parent, a school counselor, a teacher, a coach, a family friend. Tell someone you need help. If you are an LCPS student, be sure to check out the resources and information available within the School Counseling Department at your high school:

If you notice one of your friends is having a difficult time, speak up! Let your friend know you care about them and help them connect with someone to talk about what is going on.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a crisis and in need of immediate support, you can access emergency help in these ways:

Through Loudoun County Mental Health Emergency Services, help is available 24 hours, 7 days a week for youth who are experiencing immediate and severe emotional crisis at 703-777-0320. Non-emergency appointments can be made at 703-771-5100.

In an emergency, call 911 and ask for a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Deputy. Also, there are free, confidential 24/7 supports available:

    • PRS CrisisLink: 703-527-4077 or text "CONNECT" to 855-11
