Mrs. Denise M. Soukup

Mrs. Soukup is excited to join the Belmont Ridge team. She finds great joy in working with middle school students, and is honored to serve Belmont Ridge 8th grade families in 2020-21. Mrs. Soukup has a background in the science classroom, supported by her BS in Biology and her MA in Teaching, both from Cornell University. She also holds a certificate in Educational Leadership and is a doctoral student at George Washington University. Taking the last two semesters of graduate courses online, she is glad to experience the student perspective in this time of virtual connections. 

During her free time, Mrs. Soukup loves to travel (if it's a lot of free time), ride her bike or be outdoors (if it's a medium amount of free time) and eat ice cream (in a small amount of free time). She rides the W&OD with her son in a bike trailer whenever she can!
