Evidence of Mastery
1. Special Education staff will meet weekly with their interdisciplinary teams to discuss students and have strategies/action items to help address areas of concern. Other pertinent staff, e.g., teaching assistants, counselors, deans, etc., will be included as necessary.
Admin provides team planning time within schedules.

2. Special Education teachers will meet with staff members to pass out IEPs, FBAs, & BIPs, discuss student services, goals, accommodations, and to ask/answer questions at the beginning of the school year and throughout the school year as this information changes.

IEP at a Glance sheet, copy of goals & accommodations, directions to verify access, computer, and meeting location.
Beginning of school year for initial information and verification. Ongoing throughout the year as needed.
School staff working with special education students verify access in Phoenix.
3. Special Education teachers and teacher assistants will participate in professional development/in-service/training at the beginning of the year and throughout the year. For the 2018-2019 school year, all Special Education teachers will participate in Personalized Learning training and become/maintain Mandt certification.
