Home of the Wolverines
Hi Wolverines! My name is Amy Scott, and I’m the school counselor for 9th – 11th grade students whose last name begins with Gre-Ko.
I hold a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from the University of Virginia, and an undergraduate degree from Sonoma State University in California where I majored in English, with a dual concentration in Literature and Secondary Education. I began my counseling career as middle school counselor at West Frederick Middle School in Frederick, MD, and most recently was a middle school counselor at Belmont Ridge Middle School in Leesburg, where I remained for over 11 years. Prior to my career as a school counselor, I worked in residential treatment and special education settings.
I am excited about the opportunity to support WHS students, parents, and faculty. I wish that you all have a year full of success!
