Ms. Marquita Douglas
This is my 4th year teaching at Park View and my 10th year in education! For the 2020-2021 school year, I will be supporting the English department teaching English 12 self-contained and Reading Strategies I, II, & III. Prior to joining the Park View family, I worked as a special education teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools and New Hanover County Public Schools (NC), as well as at the Office of Special Education for DC Public Schools as an LEA Representative/Case Manager for students placed in residential facilities. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from NC A&T State University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a Special Education focus from Howard University, a Master's in Distance Education & E-learning from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a reading certification from East Carolina University. I'm currently working on completing my certificate in Human Resource Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus. I'm a native of North Carolina and a huge Carolina Panthers fan!
