Mrs. Amanda Smith(Beyer) is celebrating her third year at Lunsford Middle School!  She came from Gainesville Middle School where she taught for 10 years. She received her Masters in Special Education from George Mason University.  She is also highly qualified in Middle School Math.  She is excited to be teaching 8th grade small group Math and Co-taught Math with Mr. Sansonetti again this school year!

Mrs. Smith is also leading the GREEN TEAM CLUB as well as organizing Beautification Day and helping to keep the outside of our building clean! Feel free to stop by her classroom, RM 814 to check out the awesome Hydroponics tower! 

When she's not at school, she enjoys spending time with her dachshund(hot dog) "GUS" and her husband Jonathan. Other hobbies include cooking, reading, painting, attending spin/barre/trx, running, hiking, spending time with friends and family.
