Ulrike Mayer-Mello is a teacher in the Independent Learning Center (ILC) at Douglass School, where students have the opportunity to take online course work through the Edmentum Program.
Mrs. Mayer-Mello is a native German and has a great understanding for the challenges presented to English language learners.
In her ILC classroom, students can take English, History, Government and Economics courses online.
Mrs. Mayer-Mello is passionate about motivating young people and about helping them get excited about opportunities and possibilities that their future may hold.
