Mrs. Lynne Avdellas

About Me: I went to Dickinson College and was a double major in Political Science and Policy and Management Studies.  I initially taught high school students about government and American History with the Close Up Foundation.  I then went to George Mason and received my Master's Degree in Middle School Education and taught 5/6 grade in Fairfax County for three years.  A move to Pennsylvania brought a brief break in my teaching and  allowed me to stay home with my son and daughter.  When we returned to the area, I reentered the teaching field and joined the Harper Park staff.  This is my 21st year at HPMS but my first year teaching your students, which is very exciting to me! I am eager to get started!
