Ms. Heather Hong (9th-12th / Ge-Kg)

Hello!

My name is Heather Hong and this will be my third year here at Rock Ridge High School! As a School Counselor, my goal is to support and advocate for students as they navigate their time here and prepare for the future. I will be working with 9th - 12th students with last names Ge-Kg.

About Me!

Born in Southern California, I moved to Northern Virginia in fourth grade. I attended Fairfax County Public Schools and graduated from Westfield High School. I attended Virginia Commonwealth University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Early & Elementary Education and a master’s degree in School Counseling.

I make sure to focus on my mental and physical wellness by spending quality time with friends and family. I also dedicate time to travel to experience various cultures. I look forward to continuing my adventures!
