Ms. Danielle Troianello
I can't say enough how excited I am to ba a Bobcat here at Algonkian Elementary School. I've spent much of my career at Dominion High School and in New Jersey working with elementary school special education classes. I support primarily the 5th grade classes, however, I will jump in where ever there is a need or whenever a child needs assistance. I am excited to work with all of your children this year and hope to make their elementary experience a most fantastic learning journey and hope to help foster a lifelong love of learning in each of my students.
A bit about me...
I grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Monmouth University many moons ago with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and History. While teaching in New Jersey, I had the opportunity to teach across many different learning environments and found I loved to teach in the area of special education. I decided to begin my Master's degree at Centenary College in NJ and then half way through, I decided to move to Virginia. I got the job at Dominion High School teaching in an ID/MD/Autism program and was there for 7 years. During my time there, I finished up my Master's degree at Shenandoah University and I now hold a license to teach K-12 special education. I look forward to teaching your children this year and having some fun while we learn.
