Jeanine Michaelian

This is Ms. Michaelian's second year at Rock Ridge High School and she is very excited to be a part of the Phoenix family.  She will teach World History II and US Government this year.  Prior to coming to Rock Ridge, she taught 8th grade Civics, Science, and English at Stone Hill Middle School.  This year she will act as a mentor to a new teacher in the Special Education department and as an adult advisor in the Sources of Strength program. This will be her 12th year as an educator with Loudoun County Public Schools.

 

Ms. Michaelian graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor's Degree Political Science & International Relations, and earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education from George Mason University.  She is currently working on her second Master’s Degree in Specialized Reading & Literacy.  Her two children both graduated from Loudoun County Public Schools.
