Mr. Steve Greenburg


Steve Greenburg is a 1984 graduate of Loudoun Valley High School (Go Vikings!).   He received his B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Dayton (OH) in 1989.  Mr. Greenburg holds licensure endorsements for grades K-8, and Gifted and Talented Education (VA).    Mr. Greenburg started his career teaching second grade in the Mad River Township Local Schools (OH) system before beginning his 23 year teaching career with Fairfax County Public Schools as a 3rd grade AAP Center Teacher.   Mr. Greenburg served as the president of the Fairfax County Federation of Teachers (AFT) from 2010-2016, and is most proud of assisting the school system implement full day Kindergarten and Mondays, as well as later high school start times to benefit students. 

 Mr. Greenburg lives in Loudoun County with his son Henry, and their dog Onyx.  He has several sides jobs including delivering pizzas and working on a farm.  

Mr. Greenburg is excited to be at Cardinal Ridge ES, working with the incredibly talented 2nd grade team to make learning fun and meaningful for your child this year.
