    2018 - 2019

    Welcome to the

    Swift Coding Club website

An informational meeting will be held after school during the first week of October 2018. The exact date will be provided in the near future.  You must complete a digital permission form prior to attending.  A link is provided at the bottom of this page.

The first official meeting for this club will be held October 2018.  It will be limited to 30 participants due to resource constraints.  There will be no fees for this club.

What:  Swift is a new, powerful and intuitive programming language for macOS, iOS, watchOS and tvOS. Originally introduced in 2014, it has continued to add new features and refinement.  Virtually all development for macOS and iOS uses XCode for the development environment and Swift as the programming language. This club will focus on fundementals such as control flow, loops, algorithms, and functions.  We will continue beyond the material contained in Apple's three Learning to Code Modules.

Who:  If you are interested in learning how to write code and wish to some day move on to developing Apps for iOS then this club is for you.  It will be open to all grade levels and will be self paced.

When:  We will meet weekly throughout the school year in room B-9.  Club meetings will be after school on Tuesdays from 3:30 PM - 4:20 PM.
