Mrs. Matheny came to Park View to teach science in the Fall of 2017. Previously, she spent 7 years at Stonewall Jackson High School in Manassas, VA (Earth Science, Biology, and Oceanography). Before teaching, she spent 20+ years as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with LabCorp.  She holds a Batchelor of Science in Biology from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA and a Master of Science in Geosciences from Mississippi State University, Starkville, MS.
