Miss Kelsey Lauritzen

Miss Lauritzen is a proud night owl, graduated from Western Governors University.

This school year, 2022-2023, will be her 6th year teaching- all as a Park View Patriot! As a special education teacher, promoting functional communication and community involvement for all individuals is her top priority.

Using a Total Communication philosophy, Miss Lauritzen models, listens, and watches for all types of communication. Students will be exposed to basic American Sign Language, AAC devices, gestures, pictures, and written words while learning. While her classes focus on building English literacy, she strives to incorporate other languages and cultures into the classroom. 

She is also the assistant coach for Boy's Varsity Lacrosse. The team has made huge strides and she is ready for another win this season. Go Patriots!
