    Riverside Rams! Jessica Winans

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year.

I am excited to be joining the Ram Fam this year!  This will be my 5th year teaching in Loudoun County.  I started my teaching career at Loudoun County High School before moving to Connecticut, where I also taught Business and Marketing classes.  This year, I will be teaching Computer Information Systems and Intro to Business and Marketing.  Both of these classes will give students practical knowledge that will serve them will in their future endeavors.  I will also be Co-Advisor for FBLA and DECA.

After receiving my BS in Business Administration from Villanova University (Go Wildcats!), I started my own business, a nanny referral service, that I owned and operated for a few years until my children needed more of my time.  After going through the Career Switcher Program at Shenandoah University, I found a new passion in teaching. I really enjoy working with students and giving them the tools they need for success in their academic and professional careers.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. I am truly here to work with my students and their families to help them achieve success.   I can be reached by email at Jessica.winans@lcps.org or at school via the main number (703-554-8900).  Students are welcome to meet with me in the morning before school or can arrange to meet after school by appointment.
