Jeannie Delisi teaches English 12 Dual Enrollment and English 12 Academic.
She is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance and a Master's in English ("with distinction"). After teaching at Virginia Tech for two years, she moved to Northern Virginia to begin her career as a corporate trainer, while simultaneously teaching College Composition in the evenings at NOVA. She eventually started a successful business as an Educational Consultant, in order to be a work-at-home mom. Once her son was school aged, she obtained her state teaching certification via the Career Switchers program. Certified at the Secondary level, Mrs. Delisi has taught at Loudoun County High School and, most recently, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic School, where she was the Middle School Team Leader. Several of her former students from OLOH attend Dominion, and she hopes to see them around.
She has been married to Rick Delisi, a known golf addict, for 27 years, and they produced one perfect son, Chris, a Broad Run and Syracuse grad. In her spare time, she performs with local community theatre groups.
