Welcome to Kindergarten!

   My name is Holly Bruchman and I am very excited to be returning to the Kindergarten team here at Discovery Elementary School! I attended James Madison University for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. GO DUKES! I taught Kndergarten in Clarke County for three years before moving to Loudoun  County.  My favorite thing about Kindergarteners are their very curious minds and love for learning. Kindergarten is the building block of their education and it is important to encourage their exploration as they learn to navigate this new adventure. In order for students to be successful learners, parents and teachers must work together to ensure their success.

   When I’m not at school I love attending Washington Capitals games and so happy they finally won the Stanley Cup!! I also enjoy riding horses with my dad and volunteering in the local 4-H program. I have two puppies named Sophie and Tucker and love taking them for walks.
