Mrs. Carmen Farley

        Hello!  My name is Carmen Farley and I am overjoyed to start this year at Discovery Elementary with you and your child!  This will be my 7th year in Loudoun County but my 25th year in education.  I have teaching experience in 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th grades.   

         My Bachelor’s degree is from Radford University and in 2016 I completed my Master’s degree from the College of William & Mary.  It was a challenging and worthwhile experience.

         My favorite pastimes are reading, taking walks with my husband, spending time with family and friends, and hanging out at the beach. I have a wonderful husband, four amazing sons, one cat named Groot, and two dogs named Gizmo and Luna.

         I feel very privileged to be a part of you and your child’s life this year.  We will learn to overcome any challenges through hard work, discussion, and reflection.  It is important to me that our classroom is a place that is warm, comforting, fun, and engaging.  I look forward to all of the wonderful memories that we will make together this year.
