Ms. Amanda (Mandy) Boss

Ms. Boss is excited to start her 14th year of teaching and her 3rd year at Belmont Ridge teaching 8th grade Health and PE.  Ms. Boss also coordinates the dance team, serves as a personalized learning school leader, PBIS team member and is the PTO teacher liaison. Ms. Boss graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor's in Health Education and earned her Master's Degree from McDaniel College in Curriculum and Instruction with a certificate in Educational Administration.  

Ms. Boss moved to VA 3 years ago and is orginally from MD.  She enjoys everything MD - the O's, Crabs, and the beach but loves living in VA and meeting new friends, attending LoCo festivals, and grooving to amazing concerts.  Ms. Boss got married to Mr. Boss in December 2018 and really enjoys her new name (best teacher name ever)!  They have a dog named Mable and two cats named Bella and Bali.  Her favorite things to do are travel, dance, and eat!
