Hi! I'm Miss J, I was born and raised in Oakton, Virginia where I attended Fairfax County Public Schools.  I graduated in May 2017 from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Human Development and M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction.  This will be my 6th year at Newton-Lee and 4th year teaching fifth grade.  Aside from teaching and learning, I love listening to and playing music, going on adventures with my dog, Pie, and boyfriend, Don, and snowboarding when it gets cold. I am SO ready for a great year with all of my new students!
