Hello!  My name is Lisa Amazigo and I'm very excited to be returning as a Special Education Teacher at Tolbert. I am originally from the beautiful island of Jamaica (“One Love”), by way of New York City (“the city that never sleeps”).  I have a wonderful husband, John, and four amazing children.  All four of my children went to John W. Tolbert Jr.,  Elementary School so I know my way around.   I love what I do and I'm passionate about helping children achieve their goals and be the very best they can be.  In my free time, I love watching my children play sports (volleyball, softball, and basketball), spending time with family and friends, volunteering in the community, as well as reading and listening to music.
