Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Lauren Carlson

Hey Timberwolves!!

I can not express how thrilled I am to support our 7th grade students and families for the 2021-2022 school year! I attended Loudoun County Public Schools myself (Go Titans!), and I am proud to be giving back just up the road from where I grew up. I attended both undergraduate and graduate school at James Madison University (Go Dukes!) to obtain my Master's degree in Special Education with concentrations in both math and science. Upon returning to LCPS, I taught in the elementary school setting before finding that my true passion is working with middle school students! In fact, I love it so much that I decided to attend George Washington University to obtain my Post-Master Certificate for Educational Leadership in order to explore ways to continue my career with education.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our mini bernedoodles, Charlie & Simon! I love being outdoors, whether it be biking, hiking, or anything else that gets me out there and exploring.

I am passionate about creating a middle school experience that is enjoyable, engaging, and positive for each member of our Pack. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions or comments about anything that comes up.
