Hello Timberwolves!

            I'm Ms. George and I am so excited to have your child in my class this year. I am excited to be a part of this amazing team here at Trailside. I am originally from Upstate NY. During my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially on the water.

            I have a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Utica College and a master’s degree in Education from Roberts Wesleyan College. This is my third year at Trailside and working in LCPS. I will be teaching 7th grade Langauge Arts for the 2019-2020 school year :-) After completing my masters in 2010, I taught in New York State then continued my journey in South Carolina. I have taught Special Education and General Education in grades 1-12.  

         It is my goal to work together as a classroom family. I know that all my students will think and learn differently so it is my job as your child’s teachers to help them grow as a learner. I love teaching and could spend all day doing it. Middle school is such a wonderful place and I enjoy all the learning and exploring we encounter!
