Mr. Grant

Hello! My name is Mr. Grant and I'm excited about beginning my seventh year at Trailside Middle School. This will be my second year as a librarian. Before joining the library staff, I taught both 7th-grade U.S. History and 8th-grade Civics and Economics. Prior to teaching at Trailside, I taught social science courses in Prince William County and at J.L. Simpson Middle School in Leesburg. 

I am from Leesburg, Virginia, and I graduated from Heritage High School. I earned my B.A. in History from James Madison University and my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason. Most recently, I completed my endorsement in school librarianship from Longwood University. 

In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching sports, traveling, reading, and spending time with my wife (Mrs. Grant), daughter (Sara), dog (Rocky) and cat (Magsweets).

I'm looking forward to a great 2023-24 school year!
