Ms. Angela Couse

I attended Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, where I studied International Economics and Relations. However, upon completing my degree in 2010, I determined business was not where my heart lay, so I entered graduate school at the University of Pittsburgh in the Master of Library and Information Science program to pursue my first passion, reading.

My husband and I moved to Loudoun in 2012, where I have continued my quest to help students fall in love with reading by earning a Masters in Reading from Shenandoah University in 2016. My philosophy as a librarian and educator is to encourage curiosity in students and to instill them with the skills to become critical thinkers and lifelong learners, through the use of technology and of course, good books.

In my free time, you can find me watering my extensive plant collection or practicing yoga. My husband and I love to travel and are always looking for our next destination.  I am an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction books, both for kids and adults, with widely varying interests; I read everything, from gardening and craft books to horror and apocalypse fiction. Come visit the library and ask me about my favorites!
