Mrs. Michele Hoisington
Michele Hoisington is extremely excited to be teaching 6th grade language arts and specialized reading at Brambleton Middle School this school year. This is her 17th year of teaching! She moved to Loudoun County Public Schools from Pasadena, California in 2009. She taught at Stone Hill Middle school for 2 years. Prior to teaching at BAM, she opened J. Michael Lunsford Middle in 2011 and continued teaching there until then end of the 2017 school year! She is a South Riding resident and has 1 girl that attends Loudoun County Public Schools (Freedom High School). Her oldest daughter attends NOVA and works at Starbucks in South Riding and her middle daughter attends Southwest Minnesota State University as a sophomore.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Hastings College. She continued her education at Cal-State LA, San Diego University, University of LaVerne, and George Mason University. She is currently seeking a Master of Science in Education Administration through Shenandoah University.
Mrs. Hoisington believes that all students can learn given the correct tools and accommodations! She understands that each student learns in a different way and at a different rate. She is committed to help figure out solutions to assist students be successful in and out of the classroom! She is looking forward to another fun-filled school year at BAM!!
