Hello! I am excited to be teaching this year at Potomac Falls High School! This school year I begin my 8th year of teaching. I am happy to be returning for my second year with the Potomac Falls school community. My previous years were spent teaching Civics & Economics, U.S. History, and Science to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. I have also spent time tutoring and working in learning centers which focus on remedial learning and study strategies.
My educational background includes a Bachelors of Liberal Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Teaching. One of my goals in education is to provide a positive learning environment where all students will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
My wife and I have been blessed with a wonderful little girl! I enjoy going for walks with my wife and daughter, biking on the WO&D trail and hiking in Great Falls and Shenandoah National Parks, and just about anything outdoors.
I look forward to a great year working with all the staff, students, and parents of the Potomac Falls High School community.
