Welcome to Kindergarten!
My name is Jennifer Luzier and I want to thank you for the opportunity to teach your child! Kindergarten is such a special year and I am looking forward to all the exciting things that are coming our way. This year promises to be fun and productive and I can't wait for all the adventures that await us in the world of kindergarten!
I began my teaching career in Fairfax County, teaching first grade for five years in Great Falls, Virginia. I moved to Loudoun County where I continued teaching first grade for several years before moving to fourth grade. I was lucky to begin teaching kindergarten three years ago and absolutely love working with this age.
My husband David and I live in Leesburg, Virginia with our 4 wonderful children. Our daughter, Raeanna, will be returning to JMU this fall for her sophomore year. My son Joshua is a rising senior at County, and has taken up Cross Country. Jacob will be an eighth grader at Simpson Middle School and loves to play baseball. He is beginning his first year playing tackle football this fall. He is the peacekeeper in our family and loves keeping everyone smiling! Aidan is our youngest son and will be in fourth grade this year. He has kept us busy since the moment he arrived with his inquisitive nature and the need to always be busy! Aidan has followed in his big brother's footsteps with his love for baseball.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, reading, going for walks, and cheering on my favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers!
I look forward to meeting each of you and beginning a very exciting year here in kindergarten!
