Welcome to First Grade!

My name is Jennifer Luzier and I want to thank you for the opportunity to teach your child! First Grade is such a special year and I am looking forward to all the exciting things that are coming our way.   

This is my 18th year teaching and each year I look forward to meeting new students and am always inspired by seeing the world through their eyes.  It is my goal to help your child by providing a safe environment where he or she can learn, explore, take risks and look forward to coming to school each and every day.

I live in Leesburg, Virginia and have 4 wonderful children.  My daughter, Raeanna, is beginning her first year teaching here in Loudoun County as a kindergarten teacher.  I am so excited for her as she begins this amazing career.   My son Joshua will be returning to CNU for his senior year and is pursuing a Computer Science degree.  He returned home this summer from Italy after spending a semester studying abroad.  Jacob will be a senior at Loudoun County High School this year and is looking forward to graduating!  Be sure to look for him at LaVilla Roma if you ever have dinner there.  Aidan is my youngest son and will be completing his middle school journey this year at Simpson.  Aidan has followed in his big brother's footsteps with his love for sports and seems to be caught between basketball and baseball at the moment.  

In my free time, I love spending time with my family and our dog, Koda, riding my Peloton, reading, going for walks, and cheering on my favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers!  

I look forward to meeting each of you and beginning a very exciting year here in first grade!
