Rock Ridge High School participates in Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS). PBIS is an evidenced-based approach for creating a common vision of behavioral expectations through consistent language and practices among staff and students. PBIS is a framework of tiered supports to address the needs of ALL the members of the school community.
The students are taught the expectations related to Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence within each location of the building at Rock Ridge. For example, each classroom has classroom expectations posted that are related to R.I.S.E.
R.I.S.E. Awards
Each quarter the staff are asked to nominate one student for RISE Character Education Award. Every staff member is encouraged to nominate a student who you think exemplified good character this past quarter.
