• Meet Roosevelt, Ms. Keith's mini Goldendoodle.

I am very delighted to be returning to Lundsford for a third year!  I am originally from Pennsylvania, but I have been based in the metro DC area for the past fourteen years.  I'm proud to both live and work in Loudoun County; we have one of the best nationally recognized school systems in the nation.  I am also an LCPS parent; my daughter is a senior at Park View High School in Sterling.
I'm an Army veteran and I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science and a minor in Education.  I studied Political Science and Nationalistic Party Movements at Oxford University in the UK as a visiting scholar before completing my Master's degree in at Georgetown University.  My book on the 1937 Supreme Court was published in 2009.  In between teaching jobs, I contributed to the Virginia Law Review.  My specialties are Constitutional Law and Foreign Policy, but I am passionate about all aspects of History.
I love teaching middle schoolers and I have worked with this age group for more than a decade in both public and private school settings. When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me swimming, lifting weights, or spending time with family including my dog, Roosevelt, and my adopted cat, Gorbachev.
