If you are considering a Virtual Loudoun course for your student, please review the following prior to registering:


Registration in Health and Physical Education 10 with Driver’s Education:
Term 3- Spring/Summer: Students MUST be 15 prior to the start of the 2017-2018 school year to enroll in Driver's Education.

Students who are not eligible to enroll in Term 3 HPE with (Driver's Education) portion of the course are permitted to register for HPE 10 ONLY.

Parent/Student Registration Steps:

Middle school families should first review the Middle School Students page for a list of available courses for our Spring/Summer Terms.
If you are taking a HPE course, be sure to reference the Important Dates page for important information regarding required face-to-face meetings. 

Students who attend LCPS:

  1. Speak with your child’s counselor to see if he/she feels a Virtual Loudoun course is right for your student. (See Indicators for Successful Virtual Learners, Virtual Loudoun FAQ’s, and Term Dates to make an informed decision.)
  2. Take note of session start and end dates to ensure your student has a plan for successful completion of a Virtual Loudoun course. All Virtual Loudoun offerings are traditional courses offered in a condensed time period. Students should expect, on average, to dedicate 140 hours in the term period to complete a 1 credit course.
  3. If multiple terms are available please be sure to select the correct term. 
  4. Click here to register for a course.
  5. Complete all required information and select course.
  6. Once your child's counselor has approved the registration, you will receive an email notifying you of the approval.
  7. Term 3 Spring/Summer Only - In addition to the approval email you will receive an email regarding payment information.

Students who do NOT attend LCPS:

  1. Speak with your child’s counselor to see if he/she feels a Virtual Loudoun course is right for your student. Confirm your child’s school will accept Virtual Loudoun credits. (See Indicators for Successful Virtual Learners, Virtual Loudoun FAQ’s, and Term Dates to make an informed decision.)
  2. Take note of session start and end dates to ensure your student has a plan for successful completion of a Virtual Loudoun course.   6. Your child’s registration will be approved by the Office of Virtual Loudoun. You may need to provide additional documentation/recommendation from your child’s school.
  7. Once your child's registration is approved, you will receive an email regarding payment information.
