Mrs. Fishler grew up in a valley between the Wasatch and Oquirrh mountains known as Salt Lake City, Utah. While attending the University of Utah, she was trained to be a Child Life Specialist and enjoyed volunteering at Primary Children's and Shriners Hospitals. In 1997 she graduated with a bachelor degree in Human Development and Family Studies. In 2007, Mrs. Fishler and her family moved to Northern Virginia where she started teaching preschool. Before long, she decided to go back to college to begin her Master's Degree in Education at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. This is her fourth year working at Sterling Middle School.
