    Riverside Rams! Meredith Lopez
     World Languages and Cultures

¡Hola!  Me llamo Sra. Lopez.  I have taught Spanish for 13 years in Loudoun in middle school and high school.  My first 4 years were spent at River Bend Middle School and then I was in Ashburn at Briar Woods.  I returned to Sterling in 2011 and was at PFHS for 5 years. My family and I moved to Ashburn Farms in 2015 and I am so proud to be a part of the RAMily!

I graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a BA in Spanish & Italian and a business concentration.  After graduating, I worked for both large and small interpretation and translation companies, then worked in the field of accounting.  Once I decided to pursue a career in teaching, I never looked back!  I completed my Masters in Education in February 2013 from the University of Phoenix.  Not only is Spanish a part of my professional life, it is a part of my family life.  My husband and his family are from Nicaragua. We have a son in 9th grade at Stone Bridge, a daughter in 6th grade at Trailside and two French Bulldogs - Romeo & Juliet.
