This is Ms. Dwyer's fourth year teaching English at Riverside. She grew up in Loudoun County and attended LCPS schools from kindergarten (Catoctin) through twelfth grade (Loudoun County High School). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, both from George Mason University. She completed her Education Requirements through Shenandoah University. She has taught at many levels since 2001, including many years as an adjunct instructor at both Northern Virginia Community College and George Mason University.
Some of her favorite things include cats, international travel, Lego, writing and illustrating children's books, kayaking, watching cute animal videos, mint chocolate chip ice cream, going to the beach, and trying new foods. She has a 9 year old son named Lucas and a Maine Coon cat named Charlotte.
