Hello! My name is Amanda Davis. I am originally from Southern California where I completed my undergrad in International Relations at the University of Southern California and started my first career as a business consultant. I discovered my passion for teaching while teaching my clients how to use their new computer systems. After moving to Iowa, and with the teaching seed planted in my heart, I obtained my Master's in Teaching with a reading endorsement at Drake University. We then moved to Washington state where I taught third and fourth grade, as well as began my ELL endorsement. After moving to Virginia, I taught for Loudoun County Public Schools for 6 years as an ELL teacher for adults while taking care of my grandmother. Now, I've been teaching at Legacy Elementary for 2 years. This is my third year here.
I currently live in beautiful South Riding with my husband, Kyle, and two children, Nicholas and Kendall. My hobbies are enjoying family time, being outdoors, spending time with friends, playing games and reading. I am THRILLED to be teaching again at Legacy Elementary! What a wonderful school it is!
