    Hello Legacy Labs!

     

    Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!  My name is Courtney Riese.  I am excited to be your child’s teacher. I am thrilled to begin my fourth year teaching at Legacy Elementary!

     

    I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and I am a huge Steelers, Pirates and Pens fan. I'm beginning my 16th year teaching having taught Kindergarten and First grade.  I graduated from the University of Indianapolis with my Bachelors degree.  I received my Masters degree from Hood College.

     

    In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading and swimming.  My son Owen will be a second grader this year.
