    Pantropical Spotted Dolphin
    Emily Oresik earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Mary Washington and her Master of Science in Education through Shenandoah University. She has worked in the field of biology at a marine research laboratory and aquarium, a veterinary hospital and an animal park. She has participated in a sustainability research program in the Galapagos Islands of Ecuador and presented research on topics such as chronic Lyme disease, animal behavior and the environmental impacts of marine pollution. She loves living in the country with her cat, Sadie, and golden retriever, Gracie. Ms. Oresik is thrilled to be teaching Research and Academic Biology at Heritage High School.
    ~ Biology is the study of life and living things. As scientists, it only makes sense that it should become our lives in the process. ~
