• Michael Sheaffer is excited to be teaching at Tuscarora this year. Mr. Sheaffer is a Loudoun County native. He grew up in Sterling and still lives in Sterling Park today. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology and then from the University of Virginia with a Bachelors degree in physics. Later, he graduated with a Masters degree in secondary education from Old Dominion University. Mr. Sheaffer is licensed to teach physics, chemistry, and mathematics, and is also certified in high school laboratory safety. For the 2019-20 school year, Mr. Sheaffer will teach Conceptual Physics, Honors Physics, and AP Physics C: Mechanics. Previously, he has taught Academic Physics and Algebra 1.
