Ms. Sheasley

This is Ms. Sheasley's sixteenth year teaching, and 8th year teaching in Loudoun County.  Prior to her teaching experience in Loudoun County, Ms. Sheasley taught in a variety of capacities in Pennsylvania. Ms. Sheasley began her career teaching Developmental Kindergarten students in an inclusive setting where she was trained extensively in Applied Behavioral Analysis using positive reinforcement.  She later taught Middle School students while also fulfilling the role as an IT Specialist.  Ms. Sheasley is a well rounded educator who has had experience teaching students in grades K-12, students with disabilities, and students having different cultural backgrounds.  

Since Ms. Sheasley began teaching English Language Learners at Cedar Lane, she has had the opportunity to teach all grade levels.    This 2023 - 2024 school year, Ms. Sheasley will be teaching students in 4th grade.  

Ms. Sheasley graduated from Westminster College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Behavior.  Later on in life, she attended Robert Morris University in Pennsylvania to earn her Elementary Education K-6 Certification, Instructional Technology Specialist K-12 Certification, Master's of Science in Business Education and an English as a Second Language Specialist K-12 Certification. 

Ms. Sheasley has two daughters. Her oldest is grown and lives in Washington D.C. and her youngest daughter is a senior in college. She also has a dog, Jackson, and a bird named Ginger.  Ms. Sheasley is looking forward to another great year working with her students, parents and staff at Cedar Lane Elementary School!
