    Welcome Video

Mrs. Eden, 7th Grade Life Science

This is my 10th year teaching and I am excited to be sharing it with you. We are going to travel into the wonderful world of LIFE together. From the littlest organisms to the largest, our journey will take us far into the realm of Life Science.

I attended Hollins University for my BA in Biology. I received my MA in Education from Virginia Tech. I have worked in several different technical fields before deciding that I wanted to teach. I worked for 3 years in Veterinary clinics and hospitals. I also spent 6 years in the pharmaceutical industry doing research.

I have a passion for science. I have loved science since I was in high school. My hope for the year is that I can pass my enthusiasm for science and learning to my students!

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my kids and husband. In my free time I like to read, scrapbook, and go for walks with my dog.

I am really excited about this year!

    Staying Informed

I post my assignments and class announcements through my Schoology classes. Please check there frequently for assignments, announcements, and other important information. Students can find access their courses through the Schoology app in LCPSGo.

Parents are able to see each of their child's classes, including assignments, calendars, and notices. There is a link to Schoology in Phoenix.

Phoenix is the official grade book for all Loudoun County Public Schools. My grade book will be updated weekly. ParentVue

Here are handouts, study guides, and directions for projects. This folder would be set as Public so students and parents can access what is in there without signing in.

If you are experiencing issues with your student chromebook or your password, please contact the Technology Support Center (571-252-2112), M-F, 7:30am-5pm, for remote help as much as possible (i.e. passwords, account access, etc).
