Degrees and Certifications:
B.A. in Liberal Studies with a focus in Elementary Education
Miranda Meadows was raised in Loudoun County. She earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from Longwood University. While Miranda is a new graduate, teaching students is not new to her. Ms. Meadows began her love of teaching as a Teacher Cadet Participant at Stone Bridge High, and served in LCPS schools all 4 years of high school. Her college studies and practicum experiences afforded her opportunities to learn the most recent practices in STEAM which encourage student exploration and natural questioning. In her Philosophy Statement, Miranda shared: "LCPS gave so much to me as a student. As an educator, I want to give back to Loudoun County! I want my students to be laughing and having fun while learning. It is important for children of all ages to feel safe and engaged in their classrooms."
