Mr. Lancor is originally from West Hartford, Connecticut. He went to James Madison University. He graduated in 2004 with a major in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies. Mr. Lancor earned his Master's Degree from JMU in Special Education the following year. Mr. Lancor moved to Loudoun County in 2005. In February of 2006, he started his career as a 2nd-grade long term substitute at Evergreen Mill Elementary. In the fall of 2006, Mr. Lancor began teaching at Smart's Mill Middle School in Leesburg, VA. He taught there for 10 years before coming to River Bend Middle School in 2016. Over the course of his career, Mr. Lancor has taught a variety of subjects (math, English, history, and science) in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Mr. Lancor is married to his beautiful wife Diane. They have two wonderful children, Keegan and Vivienne. In his free time, Mr. Lancor coaches his son Keegan in travel soccer. He also enjoys watching movies, reading to his children, and cooking dinner for his family. Mr. Lancor is looking forward to another great year at River Bend!
