Timotha O’Grady Rainey
A resident of Leesburg since 1997, Timotha Rainey has been teaching in Loudoun County since 2007, and at Tuscarora High School since it opened in the Fall 2010. She has experience teaching preschool, middle and high school, and adult education.Prior to becoming a teacher, Mme. Rainey worked in the fields of community and youth development with the Fairfax County Extension 4-H office, as well as in the international development sector with the International Monetary Fund and the Academy for Educational Development. Her interests outside of school include walking/jogging, practicing yoga, bicycling, following current events and politics, listening to French radio and TV broadcasts, and spending time with her friends, neighbors and her husband, two children, three cats, and (only one) dog.Mme. Rainey is available for extra help during Tusky Time and before/after school by appointment.
