The 2020-2021 school year will be Mr. Nagy's 18th year of teaching Social Studies in a Virginia Public School and his 14th in Loudoun County Public Schools.  This is Mr. Nagy's 4th year at Loudoun County High School, but before that, Mr. Nagy spent his previous 10 years as a teacher and coach at Freedom High School in South Riding.  While at County and Freedom Mr. Nagy has taught World History I, World History II, U.S. History, Post World War II U.S. History, Psychology, Sociology, Global Social Issues, International Relations, and World Religions.  He also spent three years as the PEER teacher at Freedom where he helped lead the many positive initiatives the class put forth to impact the community including their Hero in the Hallway Initiative.  Prior to Freedom Mr. Nagy spent four years teaching at Robert E. Lee High School in Staunton Virginia, where he taught both World History II and World Geography.

    Coaching
This will be Coach Nagy's fourth year as the Head Wrestling Coach at Loudoun County High School. In his third year as head coach, the County wrestling team won their first regular season wrestling championship since 2013, leading the County grapplers to a 25-4 record on the season.   The grapplers also finished 6th in the Region and a school record 12th in the state with a pair of state place winners. All of this just two years removed from a 2 win season in 2017.  Coach looks to build on that success in the 2020-2021 school year, as County returns 4 State qualifiers, 7 Regional Qualifiers and 10 starters from last years team.  Prior to coming to County, Coach Nagy spent ten years coaching at Freedom High School in South Riding.  During that time Coach Nagy was both the Head Freshman Football Coach for four years as well as both an assistant and Head Wrestling Coach at FHS.  In his five years as Head Coach at Freedom, Coach Nagy won 4 district championships in 5 years, and accumulated a 120-25 record during that time.  Prior to Freedom Coach Nagy was the Head Wrestling Coach at Robert E. Lee High School in Staunton, where he took a team from last in the district to 2nd in a three year span.  Coach Nagy was named Coach of the Year by various groups during his time at Freedom in 2010,2011, and 2014, and was the 2007 Valley District Coach of the Year at Lee.  Before Robert E. Lee Coach Nagy was also an assistant at Lee, Monticello High School, and Broadway High School.
