    Mathematics is NOT about memorizing formulae, or doing worksheets, or solving for x.  Real math is about reasoning, thinking, analzying, seeing connections, and problem solving.
     
    In my classes, we investigate and explore.  We learn by doing, by making mistakes, by analyzing why we made those mistakes, and by trying again.
     
    In doing so, I hope you will see that learning in general (and math in particular) is really, really cool.
