Laura Lazarevich is thrilled to begin her eighth year as choral director at Freedom High School!  Mrs. Lazarevich was most recently the choral director at Patriot High School in Prince William County for four years, where she taught over 300 students in six choirs.  During her time at Patriot, chorus students were invited to perform at JMU Choralfest, VCU Choral Classic, and a Washington Wizards game. Patriot choirs traveled to Baltimore, Disney, Nashville, and Williamsburg to perform.  Prior to Patriot High School, Mrs. Lazarevich taught at Woodson High School in Fairfax County for two years where she was the Assistant Choral Director.  During her time at Woodson she directed two choirs, and taught guitar and AP Music Theory. Additionally, she was presented with the Outstanding Early Career Music Educator Alumni Award from James Madison University at the 2013 VMEA In-State Conference.
