• Mr. Goodfriend

     
     
    Mr. Goodfriend holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health/Physical Education from Kean University and a Special Education Certification from Rowan University. This is his fourth year at Sterling Middle School teaching 8th grade Physical Science and his first year teaching 7th grade Science.  Originally from New Jersey,  Mr. Goodfriend worked as a Teaching Assistant for two years at his hometown middle school in the Flemington-Raritan School District where he developed a passion for Special Education and decided to pursue a certification in order to become a Special Education Teacher.  He moved to Loudoun County in 2014 where he worked as a Teaching Assistant at River Bend Middle School for one year and was then hired to teach Science at Sterling Middle School.
     
    When he is not teaching, Mr. Goodfrend enjoys watching and playing all sports (especially baseball, football, Hockey, and Golf), and playing the drums.  Mr. Goodfriend is also the assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Park View high School.
